Our values

An integral part of all we do - from the products we create and
the services we deliver, to how we develop our teams and hire new talent

More than statements

These five values are intrinsic to who we are. They aren’t buzzwords or empty promises. They are what we stand for, both as a business and as individuals.

Every member of our team lives them through their daily activities, and they are central in our decision making around how we develop the business and what we invest in. Putting these at the heart of everything we do enables us to deliver a level of quality and a holistic service which truly sets us apart.

Customer first

Our customers are our ultimate priority – their experience should be a positive one, showing initiative and foresight can help towards improving that experience. Always be sincere in your approach to customers, guide them, share knowledge, be authentic, humble, and friendly.

Safety matters

We should have a sixth sense around safety – at our facilities, within our manufacturing processes, and when at work elsewhere. Be diligent with even the most obvious tasks and practice the importance of doing them safely each and every day, fostering a culture of safety.

Integrity in all we do

The ethos to do the right thing is within all of us. Ask yourself on a regular basis and in all situations, “am I doing the right thing?” This moral fibre is built into every aspect of the business. It’s about dependability. Showing up, continuously considering the greater good, and never cutting corners.

Respect for each other

We are all here to give the best of ourselves. Diversity, creativity, inspiration, and collaboration; we are a proud team that understands that everyone is working towards a common goal. Enjoy being you, what you do, the way you work – and respect the same in others around you.

Strive for betterment

Standing still isn’t an option. Our DNA is always to improve, to do better. You’re a part of something great. Forward-thinking isn’t just for our technical teams, it’s for all of us. Don’t hold back, push forward, push the boundaries – it’s how we’ll stay ahead as a collaborative business.

What was it about Siderise that appealed to you as an employer?

I was initially drawn to the company as I believe that the values that the business promote and implement, align with my own. I admired the innovative work we are involved in, whilst also endeavouring to be environmentally conscious— something I am quite passionate about.

What do you enjoy most about working at Siderise?

I enjoy the collaborative nature of the job which allows us to liaise and learn about the various departments within the business and how they work. No day is ever the same, meaning there’s always something to learn. The work environment is always friendly and professional. Working in a customer facing role also allows me to develop relationships to deliver prompt and personalised support, which I find very rewarding.

What excites you about your future at Siderise?

I can use my current skills and experience whilst also given the opportunity to expand and develop my skillset through training programmes. This is a company that is rapidly evolving alongside industry movements, and this includes promoting the personal growth of its employees too. You only have to take a look around to see the career progression that my colleagues have made within the company which is very aspirational.

The appeal for me to join Siderise was the vision they had moving forward as a company, and the values that set out the business. What was it about Siderise that appealed to you as an employer?

What attracted me to Siderise initially was its outstanding commitment to building safety and innovation in passive fire solutions. The company's proactive approach to integrating cutting edge technologies and practices in fire safety not only ensures compliance but also drives advancements in the field. This commitment resonates with my personal values and aspiration to contribute to do something purposeful and make a difference globally. The focus on innovation and practical application, exemplified by projects like our operations in Dubai, underscored Siderise's role as a leader in the industry, making it an appealing career choice.

What do you most enjoy about working at Siderise?

The most enjoyable aspect of working at Siderise is undoubtedly the company’s strong employee-centric culture. This refreshing environment stands in stark contrast to previous roles I've held, with a clear emphasis on supporting and valuing its staff. Moreover, my experience traveling to Dubai to meet and collaborate with our international team highlighted the company’s dedication to fostering connections across its global operations. These opportunities not only enhance my professional skills but also enrich my personal growth, making every day at Siderise both rewarding and exciting.

What excites you about your future at Siderise?

Looking towards my future at Siderise, I am excited by the potential of embarking on more international projects and expanding our influence in global markets. Having had the chance to travel and work directly with our team in Dubai, I've seen first-hand the impact our work in building safety can have on major construction projects worldwide.

The opportunity to be a part of Siderise’s growth— shaping industry standards and enhancing safety protocols across different countries – is both inspiring and exhilarating. It's the promise of tackling new challenges and making a global impact on fire safety that excites me most about my journey ahead with the company.

What was it about Siderise that appealed to you as an employer?

Having the opportunity fresh from completing university to be able to do the job that I wanted to do, and the feeling that the work I do on a day-to-day basis can help make a difference.

What do you most enjoy about working at Siderise?

The main thing I enjoy about working at Siderise is that I get to interact and collaborate with a plethora of fantastic employees throughout all departments (not just my own). I feel excited to come into work each day and produce work that I’m proud of, for a company that focuses on something so important.

What excites you about your future at Siderise?

I love the freedom I have to express any ideas that come into my mind. And not just to mention an idea and have nothing come from it, but the possibility to actually have it actioned. The thing that excites me most, is the potential of making a real difference within the business, whilst allowing myself to grow with the company.
