For life critical products such as passive fire protection, innovation must be driven and verified by robust performance testing. We are always looking to push the performance of our solutions to the next level — typically far beyond the minimum requirements to ensure the safest possible solution and drive the industry towards best practices. 

This includes collaborating with customers and industry partners to conduct large-scale testing with different materials. The data from these tests means that we can learn a lot about the specific applications our products are developed for.

Our £1 million global innovation centre is key to our testing strategy. In addition to accelerating the continuous innovation and performance verification of our ranges, it allows us to push the performance of our existing products as far as possible.  

Featuring a specialist fire test furnace, the Centre enables us to test products to any published fire test curve to BS, EN, ASTM, UL, and ISO standards. This allows us to not only conduct our own research and quality control testing inhouse but also to expand our bespoke solution offering, driving the creation of enhanced building fire safety solutions and helping to deliver safer building all over the world. 

The Centre also carries UKAS accreditation to ISO 17025 - Testing and Calibration Laboratories. This verifies that it operates with technical competency and generates valid results. Our vision is that this will make fire safety performance testing more accessible across the industry.
