Our values

An integral part of all we do - from the products we create and
the services we deliver, to how we develop our teams and hire new talent

More than statements

These five values are intrinsic to who we are. They aren’t buzzwords or empty promises. They are what we stand for, both as a business and as individuals.

Every member of our team lives them through their daily activities, and they are central in our decision making around how we develop the business and what we invest in. Putting these at the heart of everything we do enables us to deliver a level of quality and a holistic service which truly sets us apart.

Customer first

Our customers are our ultimate priority – their experience should be a positive one, showing initiative and foresight can help towards improving that experience. Always be sincere in your approach to customers, guide them, share knowledge, be authentic, humble, and friendly.

Safety matters

We should have a sixth sense around safety – at our facilities, within our manufacturing processes, and when at work elsewhere. Be diligent with even the most obvious tasks and practice the importance of doing them safely each and every day, fostering a culture of safety.

Integrity in all we do

The ethos to do the right thing is within all of us. Ask yourself on a regular basis and in all situations, “am I doing the right thing?” This moral fibre is built into every aspect of the business. It’s about dependability. Showing up, continuously considering the greater good, and never cutting corners.

Respect for each other

We are all here to give the best of ourselves. Diversity, creativity, inspiration, and collaboration; we are a proud team that understands that everyone is working towards a common goal. Enjoy being you, what you do, the way you work – and respect the same in others around you.

Strive for betterment

Standing still isn’t an option. Our DNA is always to improve, to do better. You’re a part of something great. Forward-thinking isn’t just for our technical teams, it’s for all of us. Don’t hold back, push forward, push the boundaries – it’s how we’ll stay ahead as a collaborative business.

What was it about Siderise that appealed to you as an employer?

The appeal for me to join Siderise was the vision they had moving forward as a company, and the values that set out the business. I also, like the Go Beyond slogan as that tells me the company and the workforce will strive to go above and beyond to become a major and successful company not only now but in the future.

What do you most enjoy about working at Siderise?

I enjoy the challenge of solving complex problems as well as the sense of accomplishment that comes with finding a solution. Within my role I also enjoy my workplace's collaborative environment and the opportunity to work with talented and passionate people.

What excites you about your future at Siderise?

The main excitement I have about working for Siderise is the educational resources and training opportunities that Siderise provide to all their employees. It also gives me a great learning opportunity to stretch my skills and contribute to the team. I believe that with the right training and guidance from personnel my personal development within the company will grow.

What was it about Siderise that appealed to you as an employer?

The current focus on fire safety in the building industry and working for a market leader was the main decision makers for me.

What was it about Siderise that appealed to you as an employer?

It was an environment I felt comfortable in, having previously worked for a ventilation manufacturer in South Wales and really enjoyed the in-house expertise you get working for a manufacturer. I was ready for a new challenge so the opportunity to join Siderise as Marketing Director felt like it came at the right time, with all my past experience accumulating to exactly what was the needed for the job, so it felt very much like fate!

What do you most enjoy about working at Siderise?

Again, being back in the manufacturing environment where you get to meet and work with a real mix of people and skill sets. It gives you the best learning opportunities and diverse workplace. Everyone has been so friendly it’s made settling in easy and coming to work something to enjoy. I’ve also finally started listening to podcasts on my commute which is something I’ve threatened to do for a while (yes, I’m very late to the podcast party!) so I’m loving finding new ones to get in to!

What excites you about your future at Siderise?

I joined Siderise feeling this is somewhere I could stay for a while, because I can see so much potential in the Marketing activity here. We’ve already hit the ground running with new activity in 2025, and it really excites me to see all the positives change that have happened already, and to know there’s no end to the scope of what we could do.
