Our story starts in Surrey, UK, as a distributor of acoustic materials, founded by Steve Bond an acoustics specialist.

To better meet our client’s requirements, we opened our first stone wool insulation processing facility.

We joined forces with Cambridge Insulation, creating Siderise Special Products to set up our own foam conversion facility, becoming one of the UK’s leading suppliers of foam based acoustic laminates to the OEM industry.

We opened our second manufacturing site and a sales hub in Maesteg, Wales—where our global headquarters is now.

We developed and patented a game changing manufacturing process turning the stonewool fibres through 90 degrees, creating the well-known Lamatherm range. 

We unified Lamaphon, Lamapro and Lamatherm to create Siderise Insulation. This sits alongside our acoustic offering to create Siderise Group.

We began breaking into international markets with our first overseas distributor agreement in the UAE.

We launched the industry’s first tested and certified EN 1364-4 curtain wall perimeter firestop.

We began to phase out our Lamathern, Lamaphon and Lamapro brand names to create one comprehensive ‘Siderise’ offering.

‘Siderise’ became a registered trademark, creating a unifying identity across our brands and locations.

To support the installation of our solutions, we launched our Site Services and the Siderise Inspection App.

We expanded our market presence in India— the fourth largest construction market in the world with the appointment of Allarch as our Indian distributor.

We were recognised as one of the UK’s leading exporters and ranked 60th in the prestigious Sunday Times Lloyds SME Export Track 100 league table.

Siderise cavity barriers are involved in fire performance testing to the US standard NFPA 285 for the first time.

We opened our Dubai office to help us to provide a dedicated service to our Middle East customers.

Siderise RH Open State Cavity Barriers achieve industry’s first third-party accreditation for products of its kind.

Siderise Insulation Ltd achieved ISO 14001: 2015 Environmental Management Systems.

European investment firm, H2 Equity Partners, became a stakeholder in Siderise Group.

We launched the second generation Siderise Inspection App to aid inspection processes on sites across the globe.

Our products are specified for projects in Australia.

We opened our Singapore office to service the Asia-Pacific sector.

Integrity in all we do built in to our logo as a reminder of what we stand for.

In response to changing regulations in the UK we launch Siderise CT Cavity Tray, as part of a full proposition for the mid-rise masonry sector.

Our CEO Tony James retires after 29 years, and is succeeded by industry leader, Adam Turk.

We celebrated 50 years in business and revealed our new logo—reflecting our renewed commitment to enhanced service levels.

Our India office opened following two years of development and growth in the Indian market.
