Siderise RH/RV Open State Cavity Barrier Systems
A complete passive fire protection solution designed to meet the needs of ventilated cladding systems
Fire safety without compromise
Ventilated cladding — often referred to as rainscreen façades — is designed with a gap between the outer cladding and the insulation layer. This allows air flow within the cavity, helping to regulate temperatures and ensure that any moisture that penetrates the system is effectively drained away. However, this open cavity can present a fire risk if not carefully considered. Our passive fire protection system for ventilated façades has been developed with the contrasting need for ventilation and compartmentation in mind.
RH Horizontal Cavity Barrier has been developed to meet the complex requirements of ventilated rainscreens, enabling the cavity to be quickly closed in the event of a fire
OSCI Open State Cassette Insert can be applied to the internal surface of cassette panels to create a flat surface opposite Siderise Cavity Barriers— ensuring that the ventilation air gap is dimensioned within permissible limits
Designs with projecting balconies can ensure reliable compartmentation with the BB-FB Balcony Bracket Fireboard
