Siderise Dubai manufacturing facility fully operational

We are thrilled to announce that our Dubai manufacturing facility is now fully operational and already demonstrating how it will improve our service for customers in the UAE and beyond. 

Customer First 

The new facility is currently focused on producing our most popular open state cavity barrier in the region for ventilated cladding systems, RH25-120/90, reducing lead times from six weeks to just three to five days depending on order quantity. This reliable and quick turnaround is helping fulfil increasing demand whilst also helping project teams operate more smoothly, efficiently, and within-schedule.

Combined with our dedicated technical and site support, this local manufacturing capability marks a key milestone in our ambitions to deliver high quality passive fire protection solutions and services that truly meet our customers’ needs. As Martyn Gillespie, Managing Director of Siderise MEIAP, explains:

The new facility is also symbolic of the ongoing success we’ve had in the region. The Middle East has been a key market for Siderise since 2008, thanks to its unique mix of innovative high-rise design and commitment to high fire safety standards with the UAE Fire and Life Safety Code. We opened up our own offices there in 2018, and have gradually grown our team and service capabilities to ensure we are offering the high level of customer service and technical support we pride ourselves on. During this time, we have built strong relationships with developers, architects, fire engineers, and contractors and worked on some of the Dubai’s most iconic buildings— from Uptown Tower to Ciel Hotel.  

New opportunities 

In addition to improving the experience for project partners looking to use Siderise products, our new site has also enabled us to grow our Dubai team, creating four new operational roles and promoting Senior Project & Site Service Engineer, Dinesh Sivaramakrishnan, to Operations Manager. 

He said of the promotion: 

“I am thrilled to be the Operations Manager for Siderise Dubai, allowing me to further contribute to our business’ development in the region. The new facility has been set up and commissioned by Siderise engineers and will be ran in line with high operational and quality standards set in our main UK manufacturing site. We want customers to be confident that wherever they interact with us and wherever their products are produced, they will always receive the quality experience Siderise is known for.”
