Siderise Insulation Expands Production Capacity with £1.8m Line at South Wales Headquarters

The new high-speed, automated line will enable it to increase production of its unique Lamella insulation by over 100% whilst the introduction of statistical process control methodologies will enhance the assurance of product consistency and quality. Modified on the production line to suit its intended application, this fire-resistant insulation material was developed by the company in the early 1990s, with vertical insulation fibres to offer products with superior fire performance.

In addition to opening new job opportunities in the region, the new line will also allow the company to continue to keep Wales on the map for fire safety innovation, helping to stabilise production productivity and ensure the company can continue meet the growing global demand for its high-performance products.
