Purpose of this position
To produce parts on the shop floor in an efficient, timely manner, to the correct specification. (After Training has been completed)
Key responsibilities
To produce product using a wide range of equipment across the shop floor, ensuring that works orders are followed correctly, and that all parts produced are within the quality standards required.
Qualifications
Good level of education.
Ability to understand and follow written instructions.
Job Function Technical Knowledge and Skills
High level of attention to detail.
Basic IT & numeracy skills.
Ability to problem solve and work under own initiative.
To follow instructions efficiently and effectively with strong verbal communication skills.
Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise. Managing a fast-paced workload and a flexible approach to changing deadlines, with the ability to work under pressure at times.
Enjoys and can work as part of a team and providing assistance and support to employees.
Uses judgement to know when to ask for help and guidance.
Uses own initiative and can work independently / takes responsibility for own work.
