Summary
Clatterbridge Cancer Centre has been created to offer a wide range of specialist cancer care to local communities, including cutting-edge therapies and clinical trials of new treatments. Reflecting its innovative purpose, the 11-storey building is clad with a contemporary unitised and stick curtain walling system with a mix of transparent, translucent, opaque, and graduated fritted panels. This striking design has been fitted with a range of cavity barriers and firestops from Siderise, providing passive fire protection which can accommodate the wide range of natural building movement.
