Purpose of this position

We are seeking a proficient and driven Technical Services Engineer with experience in passive fire protection, specifically focused on cavity barriers within building facades. As a Technical Services Engineer, you will be responsible for responding to technical enquires from both internal and external stakeholders regarding the design, installation and performance of Siderise passive fire protection systems  

Key responsibilities 

  • Provide Timely and accurate technical support to internal teams and external stakeholders on passive fire protection cavity barriers and firestops with a primary focus on building envelope.
  • Collaborate with project management teams to address technical queries and provide solutions aligned to the project requirements and product specification.
  • Analysis of technical specifications, drawings, project plans to advise on best product selection, standards and regulations.
  • Record technical enquires and responses in our in-house CRM system.
  • Stay current with industry standards and regulations related to passive fire protection of the building envelope and integrate this knowledge into technical support activities.

Qualifications 

  • Experience in a technical role, preferably passive fire protection.
  • Experience in technical writing, including the creation of technical reports.
  • Construction background
